Kathy Morris
Founder
Our beloved founder Kathy, was married to Russell for over 35 years. Together they shared three children; Stephanie, Nicholas & Ashley, and two grandchildren Greyson & Delilah.
Kathy was in the Mortgage Broking industry for over 30 years, starting SmartLend in 2006.
Over this time SmartLend has written over $800 million dollars and assisted many satisfied customers in becoming home owners.

Stephanie Kiley
Director
Stephanie is married to Xavier and they have two young children; Greyson & Delilah.
After 7 years in the architecture and construction industry, Stephanie became inspired by her mother’s passion for her job and ability to help people as a Mortgage Broker.
Stephanie became a certified broker in 2021, and assumed the role of Director of SmartLend in 2025.
Stephanie has helped a number clients with their home loans, investment loans, refinances, construction loans, and bridging loans. Stephanie has strong experience helping First Home Buyers and the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme. She also specialises in foreign income and has assisted many Australian citizens living and working abroad with both refinances and new purchases.
